Quzhou's GDP exceeds 200b yuan in 2022

Quzhou's gross domestic product exceeded 200.34 billion yuan ($29.53 billion) in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 4.8 percent, according to the Quzhou statistics bureau.
In 2022, the added value of the primary, secondary and tertiary industry was 9.32 billion yuan, 87.41 billion yuan and 103.61 billion yuan, respectively, up 3.6 percent, 6.2 percent and 3.8 percent.
The added value of above-designated-size industrial enterprises in the city expanded 9.6 percent year-on-year to 60.97 billion yuan, while the computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing sectors saw the fastest growth, up 48.8 percent year-on-year.
In the past year, the city's investment in fixed assets grew rapidly. Investment in high-tech industries, manufacturing, and environmental protection, urban renewal and water conservancy facilities grew by 116.4 percent, 60.3 percent and 42.2 percent, respectively.
The consumption of new energy vehicles in the city increased by 95.4 percent in 2022.
The per capita disposable income of urban residents in the city was 57,465 yuan, an uptick of 5.3 percent year-on-year, while that of rural residents was 31,468 yuan, up 7.5 percent year-on-year.
The per capita income ratio of urban and rural residents was 1.826, 0.039 lower than the same period in 2021.
