Artists gather in Tonglu to discuss cultural renaissance

An activity for artists and craftsmen to talk with each other was held in Shen'ao village, Tonglu county, Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, on Nov 21.
Nearly 20 skilled craftsmen and artists, organized by the Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum, took part in the event.
During their visit, a ceremony marking the establishment of a league for cultural prosperity in ancient villages and a workshop for passing down traditional arts and crafts was held.

The league aims to bring prosperity to villages through reviving cultural heritage hidden in ancient villages.
Following the ceremony, the delegation toured the ancient village of Shen'ao and admired the architecture, arts and crafts of the scenic site.
The delegation also discussed their thoughts and inspirations related to arts and crafts during a workshop in a tea house.
