The International (Africa) Culture and Art Exchange Exhibition and Display opened online on Nov 17.
Hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the government of Jinhua city, the exhibition is now accessible on the tourism bureau websites of many African countries and the official websites of Chinese culture centers in Africa.
In ancient times, Jinhua was known as Wuzhou. The city's beautiful scenery and inclusive culture gave birth to various folk operas, including Wuju Opera, which was born some 500 years ago and integrates vocal tunes and action scenes.
The Zhejiang Wuju Opera Troupe, which has performed in 49 countries and regions, stages over 500 shows every year.

In Africa, singing and dancing is the oldest and most common art form, as well as a valuable legacy of African culture.
The online exhibition is themed "Explore the Passion in the World" and has four sectors titled Percussion between Heaven and Earth, Sing for the World, Depict All Lives, and Dance for Life.
The four sectors are focused on instruments, vocal tunes, skills, and dances respectively, and showcase the similarities of African and Zhejiang arts and the passion both sides have for a beautiful life.
