5th China-Kazakhstan Economic and Social Research Forum held in Zhejiang
The 5th China-Kazakhstan Economic and Social Research Online Forum was held in Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics (ZUFE) on November 12.
Themed "China-Kazakhstan Economic and Social Cooperation: to Crack the Poverty Code and Promote the Common Progress of China and Kazakhstan", the forum was held both online and offline at the university.
Nearly 20 experts and entrepreneurs from the Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China, the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in Shanghai, Kazakhstan National Eurasian University, Moscow State University, Orenburg State University of Russia, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Renmin University of China gathered to discuss the theme.

Li Zhanrong, vice-president of ZUFE, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the forum and said that achieving common prosperity is the common aspiration of people all over the world. In his video speech, Zhang Xiao, Chinese ambassador to Kazakhstan, reviewed and summarized the fruitful cooperation between China and Kazakhstan in the political, economic, trade and cultural fields since the two countries established diplomatic ties 30 years ago.
