Wang Qunying was the vice-president of the criminal court of Ouhai District People's Court in Wenzhou city and a delegate to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China.

During her working time at Wutian Court, Wang created work processes that improved the efficiency of case-handling. From 2012 to 2020, Wang Qunying handled more than 4,200 civil and commercial cases as well as more than 75 percent of the court's family cases.

At the end of 2020, Wang was transferred from Wutian Court to the Ouhai Court Criminal Trial Division where she handled trials involving juveniles as well as major cases.
