Zhejiang announces 2022 top 100 private enterprises
The list of the top 100 Zhejiang's private enterprises in 2022 was unveiled by authorities of East China's Zhejiang province on Sep 13.
Two hundred private enterprises in Zhejiang applied to participate in the ranking.
The combined revenues of the top 100 companies amounted to about 6 trillion yuan ($861.55 billion), an increase of 16.92 percent year-on-year. Sixty-two of these companies came from the manufacturing industry, 12 from the construction and real estate industry, and 26 from other industries.
Thirty-eight companies from Hangzhou – the most among all Zhejiang's regions – made the list.
The total net assets of the top 100 private enterprises was 2.05 trillion yuan, up 31.57 percent year-on-year, while the total net profit was 286.22 billion yuan, an increase of 41.54 percent year-on-year.
According to the authorities, the top 100 private enterprises have 563 high-tech subsidiaries that generated a combined sales revenue of 894.1 billion yuan and exported of $47.79 billion worth of goods in 2021.
In addition, the top 100 private enterprises have 96,351 valid patents and 21,239 foreign patents. Their combined R&D investment in 2021 was 103.15 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 26.91 percent.
These private enterprises presently hire 1,357,500 employees, an increase of 2.83 percent over the previous year. In 2021, these companies had 275,800 skilled employees, up 10.63 percent year-on-year.
