Governor encourages Hangzhou's Asian Games preparation

Wang Hao, governor of Zhejiang province, inspected Hangzhou's preparations for the Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 and held a meeting on the construction of Asian Games venues and facilities on Feb 8.
He stressed that the Asian Games will be a highlight and milestone moment in Zhejiang's history and will showcase the province's efforts in building a pilot area of common prosperity.

He encouraged all participants to do their best and present a splendid sporting event with Chinese characteristics, Zhejiang features, and a "Hangzhou feel".
Wang also visited the renovation projects of Jiangnan Avenue and the Asian Games Village and rallied construction teams to build a comfortable environment for visitors to Hangzhou.

Wang added that the organizers of the Asian Games should focus on the details and try to live up to the standards of the ongoing Winter Olympics.
Holding the Asian Games can help improve Hangzhou's image, quality, management, and culture, Wang said.
