Construction of grand museum nears completion
Construction on the China Commerce and Trade Museum, located in Jiangdong sub-district in downtown Yiwu, Zhejiang province, is nearly complete.
The four-story museum, costing 630.98 million yuan ($99 million), is expected to have a floor space of 35,284 square meters. Its main exhibition halls will feature Yiwu's natural environment, Yiwu's history and culture, the development history of the world's largest wholesale market for small commodities, commerce and trade in ancient and modern China, and local collections of cultural relics.
