Places to enjoy osmanthus in Zhejiang

Autumn is the season to inhale the fragrance of osmanthus. Below are some recommended places for visitors to enjoy the flowering plant's pleasant aroma in Zhejiang province.
Manjuelong village
Manjuelong village is located southwest of West Lake in Hangzhou and has been a famous place to enjoy osmanthus since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).
Visitors can also take some sips of tea at teahouses in the village while enjoying the flowering plant's beauty.
Daxianglin Scenic Spot
Daxianglin Scenic Spot in Shaoxing is home to over 400 mu (26.6 hectares) of osmanthus trees including one that is more than 1,000 years old, which is dubbed the "King of Chinese Osmanthus".
During the fall, the air in the scenic spot is saturated with the fragrance of osmanthus.
Andi town
Andi town in Jinhua is another choice for visitors to enjoy osmanthus. With a history of more than 50 years of cultivating osmanthus, the town got the title of the "Hometown of Osmanthus in China".
Xi'ao village
Situated in Ningbo's Beilun district, Xi'ao village has more than 300 osmanthus trees, which were all planted 100 years ago with the oldest surpassing 450 years.
