Chinese Fable Literature Museum opens in Wenzhou

The Chinese Fable Literature Museum, a cultural hall dedicated to the collection and display of Chinese fables, opened in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province on July 10.
Wenzhou is known as a city of fable creation. A group of Chinese fable writers were from the city. Among the 12 national bases for fable writing, nine are located in Wenzhou.
The newly constructed museum spans an area of 13,000 square meters. It showcases the development history and the characteristics of Chinese fables, as well as several classic stories. With its VR facilities, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in these stories.
Hu Jianjin, head of Wenzhou's publicity department, said that the museum is expected to provide a platform for fable lovers to learn more about the literature and to have exchanges with each other.
China's top awards for fable creation, the Golden Camel, will be given out at the Chinese Fable Literature Museum in Wenzhou permanently, officials of the Chinese Fable Research Association announced on the same day.
