17 projects signed to be stationed at China-CEEC industrial park
A total of 17 projects worth 7.83 billion yuan ($1.17 billion) were signed for the CEEC Industrial Cooperation Park during the second China-CEEC Expo in Ningbo, a coastal city in East China's Zhejiang province on June 9, according to local media reports.
The Hungarian Oxydtron mineral cement project, for example, is a high-tech proposal based on the long-term research and observations of Balogh Istvan, a Hungarian academician and quantum physicist, who has been doing experiments with concrete materials.
The project can overcome a number of issues that concrete has, such as water leakage, corruption and mustiness, and will be applied to the construction of underground parking lots and channels. Once put into operation, the project will boast an annual output of 300,000 metric tons of such cement.
All 17 projects will be fulfilled at the CEEC Industrial Cooperation Park in Ningbo's Yuyao city. Starting operations in June last year, the park is reportedly a key platform for China-CEEC cooperation.
The park's "friend circle" has been expanding. It has built an innovation base in Budapest, and its interactions with foreign institutes and foreign embassies in China have intensified.
The park is now seeking multi-dimensional cooperation opportunities with CEE countries in technology, talents, cultural and tourism activities and trade, with more than 30 collaboration programs with these countries currently being discussed.
