A direct tourist bus route linking the Jingning She autonomous region, administered by Lishui city, with Hangzhou city -- both in East China's Zhejiang province -- officially opened recently, local media reported.
The route, which operates once a week, connects popular tourist attractions in Jingning, allowing tourists from Hangzhou to be immersed in the unique scenery and customs of the area, as well as to savor the local dishes.
Jingning is rich in tourism resources, attracting a large number of visitors every year. However, the scenic spots are scattered across the county, making transportation difficult in the mountainous area.
The new bus route is expected to help break through the constraints in Jingning's tourism development and expand a new channel for cultural and tourism interaction and cooperation with Hangzhou.
