Zhejiang's two sessions conclude in Hangzhou
The fourth session of the 12th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the fifth session of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress concluded in the provincial capital of Hangzhou on Jan 29 and Jan 30, respectively.
The annual two sessions is a political event in which the province's lawmakers and political advisors come together to discuss economic and social development over the past year and make plans for the following year.
Deputies to the fifth session of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress, which started on Jan 26, have reviewed and approved of the provincial government work report, the province's 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025), and the long-term development goals for 2035.
