Shenzhen Stock Exchange inaugurates Ningbo service center

The Shenzhen Stock Exchange inaugurated a capital market service center on Dec 16 in Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province, according to local media reports.
The facility is expected to help Ningbo optimize its financial services and allow more local enterprises to achieve growth by leveraging the capital market.
In addition, Ningbo and Shenzhen Stock Exchange also agreed to construct an information system, offering all-round services for local companies preparing for Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).
This year, a total of six companies from Ningbo have debuted on the Shenzhen bourse. Four companies including Ningbo KBE Electrical Technology Co Ltd, Ningbo Daye Garden Industry Co Ltd, Ningbo Jianan Electronics Co Ltd and Zhejiang Songyuan Automobile Safety Systems Co Ltd were listed on China's Growth Enterprise Market, or GEM.
Yang Yongben, director of the Shanghai branch of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, said they highly value the development of Ningbo capital market and will intensify its cooperation with local authorities in aspects including the servicve base operation, enterprise cultivation and talent training.
In addition to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the Shanghai Stock Exchange, anothe domestic bourse, had also set up a presence in Ningbo.
Official data show there are a total of 14 Ningbo-based companies make IPOs this year to date. Among them, 13 were listed on domestic bourses, bringing the total number of A-shared companies in the city to 93.
