As of October, the port had opened a total of 17 freight trains with services reachig 56 cities in 15 provinces and municipalities across the nation.

In August, it introduced LCL (less-than-container loads) services in Chongqing, which allows multiple customers within the city to share the same container, reducing logistics costs.

It has also adopted paperless procedures and set up special windows for handling containers.
