Project worth 12b yuan breaks ground in Jiaxing
Construction on an industrial base worth 12 billion yuan ($1.74 billion) began in Haiyan, a county in Jiaxing, East China's Zhejiang province, on Aug 27, local media reported.
The industrial base, invested in by the Shanghai-based Shanying International Holdings Co Ltd, will include three zones for research and training, green manufacturing, and cyclic utilization respectively.
The research and training zone will include a research and development center, an information sharing center, a supply chain center, Shanying College, and other supporting facilities to make information sharing among departments possible.
The green manufacturing zone will bring in first-class equipment from Germany and Finland to produce high-grade paper and several advanced production lines for eco-friendly packaging.
The cyclic utilization zone will introduce facilities to treat industrial wastewater and generate electricity by burning paper-making waste, civil sludge, waste cloths, and other flammable industrial solid waste.
The entire project can be traced, visualized and shared via a big data cloud platform, making the traditional industry more automated, intelligent and eco-friendly.
