Kecheng district explores new methods of rural revitalization

"If I didn't pay a visit, I would have had no idea there was such a beautiful wonderland here," said a tourist surnamed Zhang. She and her child appreciated the stunning scenery in Zhangxi village, Shiliang town, Kecheng district.

The village, as a demonstration pilot for the revitalization of "beautiful villages", takes advantage of its unique natural ecology and relies on a "smart ecological internet system" to create an environment for leisure tourism.

Currently, the village has carried out projects to upgrade public service facilities, upgrade housing, and improve domestic sewage treatment. A total of 30 houses and 2,142 square meters of interior decoration have been renovated using an "internet + village" model and a smart village service system.
