Zhejiang province has been promoting rural cultural halls in recent years as part of its efforts to promote civilized behavior.

According to a meeting held by local authorities on May 28, the province is currently home to 14,341 rural cultural halls.

Zhejiang was one of the first provinces in China to build centers for promoting civilized behavior, with 54 counties and districts being selected as national and provincial pilots. More than 8.6 million people have volunteered to take part in activities promoting civilized behavior.
