Hangzhou rolls out moves to boost business environment
Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, was recently recognized by the State Council, China's Cabinet, for its successful moves to streamline its administration procedures and improve its business environment, according to local officials.
They said that in 2020, the State Council will support Hangzhou to become a pilot area for conducting a series of business reforms to streamline registration and approval issues for companies.
Under new measures being rolled out, all registration and approval procedures required for starting up a company in Hangzhou can be completed within one day without any charges.
This year, Hangzhou plans to achieve the target of spending at most half an hour on every single approval procedure for companies.
The city will also make efforts to explore how to deploy advanced technologies -- including 5G, artificial intelligence, block chain, big data, cloud computing and the internet of things -- to optimize the business environment.
