Subway line 16 in Hangzhou, which began operating on April 23, starts from Lyuting Road Station in Yuhang district and ends at Jiuzhou Street Station in Lin'an district and has a total length of 25.12 kilometers.

The subway line has 12 stations, with the average distance between each station being nearly 3 kilometers. Each station has a unique and sophisticated design.

Unlike lines 1, 2, 4 and 5, which can run at speeds of up to 80 kilometers per hour, line 16 is capable of running at speeds of up to 120 kilometers per hour, making it the fastest among all the city's subway lines.
