Zhejiang publishes regulations to strengthen novel coronavirus control for companies resuming work
Zhejiang province published 17 regulations on Feb 4 to strengthen controls of the novel coronavirus for companies that will resume work soon.
According to the regulations, companies must not resume work earlier than the end of Feb 9, except those producing necessary medical supplies and life necessities, as well as major public utilities and other companies important to the national welfare and people's livelihoods. These bodieshad to resume work on Feb 3.
Employers should strengthen health checks of returned workers, and record their travel details and health conditions in the previous 14 days.
Employers should also set up temporary rooms for body temperature checks and isolation, and ensure they have enough face masks, disinfectant and other protective supplies. Employees should receive temperature checks at least once a day. Those who have a fever or cough should not enter the workplace.
Canteens should strengthen ventilation and disinfection. Employees should take meals at different times, keep at least a meter away from each other, and avoid having meals in groups.
Central air conditioning should not be used until further notice, and door handles, buttons on elevators and other public equipment should be regularly disinfected.
