Zhejiang's annual two sessions come to an end

The third session of the 12th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the third session of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress ended on Jan 15 and Jan 16, respectively.
A series of plans and resolutions were approved during the congress, including a report on the work done by the Zhejiang government in 2019 and its plan for 2020, as well as a set of regulations on promoting the development of private companies.
Xu Luode was elected as the new director of the province's supervision commission.
Che Jun, Party chief of the province, addressed the closing ceremony of the congress, urging governments as all levels to work together to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects in 2020 by promoting the province's advantageous private economy and digital economy.
Che also emphasized the importance of the regulations on promoting the development of private companies, and urged their effective implementation.
