Yunhe Terrace, located in Yunhe county, Lishui, Zhejiang province, was in the first batch of national AAAA scenic spots set up in the county.

The terrace was first developed in the early Tang Dynasty (618-907).

Covering 51 square kilometers, the scenic spot is the largest terrace cluster in East China. Yunhe Terrace reaches more than 1,400 meters in height, and generally varies from 200 m to more than 1,200 m and  includes three geological landscape belts ­– mountains, hills and valleys.  

Yunhe Terrace has been honored as the most beautiful terrace in China, and was rated by the US Cable News Network as one of the 40 most beautiful scenic spots in China.
