The 2019 Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo came to a close at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai on Nov 24.

Exhibitors from Zhejiang province, representing 130 companies, signed deals worth 9.57 billion yuan ($1.36 billion) during the four-day event.

On-the-spot transactions totaled 4 million yuan, and letters of intent worth 7.57 million yuan were signed by Zhejiang exhibitors and more than 200 other companies.

The publicity departments of the 11 cities and several counties in Zhejiang were awarded for their outstanding organization work, while 50 Zhejiang companies were awarded for their contributions to society.

The expo plays a crucial role in promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region, said organizers.
