"I've been coming to China for over 30 years. When I first came here, there was no internet. Communicating with the rest of the world was a lot harder. It would take a couple of weeks for a letter to go from China to the United States or any other direction. Now we are much more closely interconnected. I can send a message to my family very quickly and they can do the same to me in real time."
