Located in Longquan, a county-level city in Lishui, Zhejiang province, Songcheng Longquan Mountain Resort boasts the highest peak in Yangtze River Delta region, and is considered the source of Oujiang River, an oxygen bar and a cradle of biodiversity.
Under the principle of emphasizing protection more than planning and interference, the resort takes advantage of its unique natural and ecological elements, and has successfully developed itself into a name card of Lishui's national parks and a popular tourist destination nationwide.
The cableway in the resort not only solves the traffic problem of steep hills and precipitous roads, but also provides tourists with an exciting travel experience. Magnificent sunrises and views from above the clouds can be seen once you reach the 1929-meter-high Huangmao Peak, the highest in the Yangtze River Delta region.
There are also pines growing by the precipice in the Bold Cliff and Wondrous Pine scenic spot, a grand waterfall in the Grand Canyon scenic spot, and streams, lakes and meadows in the source of Oujiang River, all displaying the wonder and beauty of the resort.
The resort is renowned for its exotic flowers, unusual trees and rare animals. With a height of 1,920 meters, the Longquan Mountain harbors almost all the subtropical plants, and is known as "a cradle of ancient animals and plants in East China".
With all this beautiful scenery, the Longquan Mountain attracts numerous tourists every year.
