The Shanglin Lake area in Cixi, Zhejiang province was once a production hub for fine mise porcelain. Now it's an archaeological park firmly on the tourist trail.

As one of the key porcelain production sites in Cixi and nearby regions - collectively known as the Yue Kiln - Shanglin Lake was a celadon production hub that operated for a millennium.

慈溪上林湖曾是优质秘色瓷的产地，这儿产出的瓷器曾代表中国青瓷制造的最高水平。如今，上林湖越窑国家考古遗址公园已成为慈溪旅游的必到之处。
