Yang Xiaoai: Helping Chinese products enter S. American market
In 2014, to meet the increasing market demands, Yang expanded the production base by purchasing a 3.33-hectare industrial park. Nowadays, the daily output of shoes at Yang's factories is able to hit 50,000 pairs. These products sell well not only in Ecuador, but also in other South American countries including Columbia, Peru and Brazil.
Yang owes the business' success to China's reform and opening-up, "Our company's assembly lines, production technologies and raw materials are all from China."
During her work and life in Ecuador, Yang found that many local residents don't have enough knowledge of China. In her eyes, every overseas Chinese person should shoulder more responsibilities to boost people-to-people exchanges.

Yang has devoted herself to charity activities in Ecuador and makes donations to people in need every year. "I've achieved success in this country and I should do what I can to give back."
The Qingtian native is also working to promote the exchanges and cooperation between China and Ecuador. She united Chinese people in the South American country and encouraged them to make contributions to both countries.
"Never forget where our happiness and success comes from," Yang said.
