Guyanhuaxiang town in Lishui, Zhejiang province, will be promoted in France this September as a demonstration of Zhejiang's characteristic towns.

Guyanhuaxiang town, with its few buildings and unblemished natural landscapes, offers an idyllic escape from city life.

The French promotions will feature exhibitions of 30 oil paintings and 30 photographs, promotional videos about the town and a variety of folk performances. The exhibits are expected to show the artists' respect for and admiration of Guyanhuaxiang's nature, history and customs.
