Zhejiang releases measures to implement 'Made in China 2025' strategy
The general office of Zhejiang provincial government recently issued an implementation plan to clarify its goals and tasks in carrying out the national "Made in China 2025" strategy.
According to the plan – Implementation Plan to Promote "Made in China 2025" Joint Strategy by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the PRC and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, by 2020, Zhejiang would strive to establish at least two national-level demonstration zones featuring "Made in China 2025" and eight provincial innovation centers for manufacturing industry.
In addition, the province will nurture roughly 100 projects to promote intelligent and green manufacturing. In the future, the province will cultivate three world-leading big data enterprises and further promote the application of intelligent robots in the manufacturing sector.
Zhejiang will invite a third-party agency to assess its implementation process of "Made in China 2025" strategy. It will have an overall understanding of the province's work and provide guidance and supervision for relevant government departments.
