Make the 2017 WIC better than ever
Wuzhen will showcase the latest achievements of China's information economy and reflect the brand new look of Zhejiang province to make the 4th World Internet Conference (WIC) better than ever.
That approach was proposed by Yuan Jiajun, governor of Zhejiang province, during his inspection of the preparation work for the 2017 WIC in Wuzhen on Nov 22.
Yuan looked over the exhibition layout and network security at the Wuzhen Internet Exhibition and Convention Center and the security command center, and urged staff members to take up their responsibilities to complete the projects in detail with high standards and quality and further upgrade the infrastructure and venue equipment.
He also thanked staff and volunteers for their efforts on behalf of the grand conference, hoping that each of them will serve the event with enthusiasm and commitment.
Officials of the Zhejiang Big Data Exchange Center briefed Yuan about the digital economy industry. Yuan reminded them that they are required to seize the chance of the WIC, and provide premium products and service in areas like big data, cloud computing and artificial intelligence based on technical innovations and market demand.
Yuan added that by pooling financial capital, advanced technologies, Internet research institutes and companies, Zhejiang province can develop into a highland of scientific and technological innovation.
