Zhejiang bids farewell to first int'l documentary festival

Chinese documentary works also shone brightly at the festival. A Young Patriot, directed by Du Haibin, was recognized as an outstanding work, and Jin Xingzheng, director of Mama, was named best director for his skills in telling the story of Luo Changjie’s decades of selfless love for her son.
World-class documentary authors and producers were invited to share their classic works and academic visions, helping the audiences fully enjoy the artistic value of high-quality documentaries, and opening up dialogues on topics such as dynamism in artistic creation, filming techniques and the interaction between different characters.
The festival also witnessed collaboration between the national and provincial TV channels and production companies on shooting projects and topic treatment plans.
