"From President Xi's speech, I feel the strong support from the Chinese government that other countries do not have," said Lucas Rondez, CEO of Hangzhou Boru Network Technology Co.
"I used to work at a bank, and set up an internet company in Hangzhou last year to help foreigners living in China. It's not easy to start a business, and it's more difficult for a foreigner. But I think my choice is right. President Xi's speech gives startups like us more confidence and courage to continue our business."
"Internet sector still needs some standards and better communication. Every country should take their responsibility to do some specific jobs. I think this is the aim of this conference," Lucas added.
The Third World Internet Conference is held in Wuzhen, Tongxiang of East China's Zhejiang province from Nov 16 to 18, 2016.
With a theme of "Innovation-driven Internet Development for the Benefit of All – Building a Community of Common Future in Cyberspace", the Conference is composed of forums, an expo, and a release event in addition to the opening and closing ceremonies.
The Conference has 16 forums covering 20 hot issues, such as internet economy, internet innovation, internet culture, governance in cyberspace and international cooperation on internet.
