Besides "hard service", the summit’s "soft service" also left a deep impression on the guests.

From the center opening on Sep 1to the closing on Sep 6, the summit's 3,760 volunteers responded to more than 15,000 enquiries. One volunteer, a student from Zhejiang University, said he reviewed his map of Hangzhou constantly during the summit in order to "be a qualified volunteer to answer guests' questions."
