The 11th G20 summit under the theme of "Toward an Innovative, Invigorated, Interconnected and Inclusive World Economy" is having a global impact. The world's media have thoroughly covered the summit and affirmed China's role in promoting international cooperation.
"La Presse" reported that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau praised China's agenda for the summit, noting that the discussion topics will gear up economic cooperation among the member countries. The paper also noted that the cooperative mechanism of G20 allows the global economy to grow in a strong, sustainable and inclusive way.
"The East Asia Forum" from Australia wrote that a successful G20 summit in Hangzhou indicates the world's ability to tackle its challenges through concrete actions. China will leave a precious G20 heritage to generations by encouraging the world to prioritize global financial safety network enhancement, economic growth and increase in trade.
"Bloomberg News" from the US found that Alibaba, a symbol of China's transition from manufacturing to the service industry, and its headquarter Hangzhou, have shown the world China's attractiveness and competitive advantages on the occasion of G20.
In her letter to Premier Li Keqiang, UK Prime Minister Theresa May expressed her congratulations on a successful G20 in Hangzhou and her expectation of close Sino-UK cooperation in economic, trade and global issues, according to the website of the Financial Times.
