Ma Yinchu (1882-1982), courtesy name Yuanshan, was an educator, economist and demographer. He was a native of Sheng county, Zhejiang (Current Shengzhou City). He once served as the vice chairman of Central Financial and Economic Committee, and president of Peking University. He had numerous masterpieces in the lifetime and made important contributions to the development of economics and demography of China.
